This Department includes all courses in general culture that are aimed at integrating the student's cultural background, stimulating his curiosity and interest.

The lessons range from the study of Italian literature up to European comparative literature with reference to the history and characteristics of the modern European novel.
By analysing works and texts, teachers will trace some guidelines to understand the historical and cultural changes that Italy and Europe have gone through over the centuries.
