30 Contact Hours and 15 Hours of Independent Studies
From Middle Age to the present. The course introduces students to the proper evaluation of objects, antiques, furniture and their provenance.
Students learn historical periods, furniture evolution, furniture terminology, the evolution of the different techniques, furniture construction and materials, and historical concepts.
Instructional Technologies Employed: The course will be present through any and/ or
all of the following: lectures, discussions, audio-visual materials, class projects, written
projects, written reports, library assignments, visit to museums and further places of interest
related to the furniture subject.
